Description:
Very tasty double IPA. Strong, smooth with an excellent flavor.
Ingredients:
- 8 lbs Dry Malt Extract - Light
- 1 lbs Crystal Malt 40L
- 1 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
- 8 ozs Vienna Malt
- 8 ozs Dextrin (Cara-Pils) Malt
- 2 ounce Amarillo Hops
- 1 ounce Chinook Hops
- 2 ounce Warrior Hops
- 3 ounce Simcoe Hops
- 1 packet Wyeast American Ale (1056)
Instructions:
Steep for 30 minutes at 154 °F:
- 1 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
- 1 lbs Crystal Malt 40L
- 8 ozs Dextrin (Cara-Pils) Malt
- 8 ozs Vienna Malt
Boil Schedule:
- 8 lbs Dry Malt Extract - Light at 60 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Chinook Hop pellets at 60 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Amarillo Hop pellets at 60 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Simcoe Hop pellets at 60 minutes
- 2 ounce Warrior Hop pellets at 60 minutes
- 1 ounce Simcoe Hop pellets at 45 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Chinook Hop pellets at 30 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Simcoe Hop pellets at 15 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Amarillo Hop pellets at 5 minutes
Yeast:
- 1 packet Wyeast American Ale (1056)
Fermentation:
- 1 ounce Amarillo Hop pellets at 14 days
- 1 ounce Simcoe Hop pellets at 14 days

60 mins - 0.5 oz Chinook
60 mins - 0.5 oz Simcoe
60 mins - 2 oz Warrior
60 mins - 0.5 oz Amarillo
45 mins - 1 oz Simcoe
30 mins - 0.5 oz Chinook
15 mins - 0.5 oz Simcoe
5 mins - 0.5 oz Amarillo
