Description:
Clone of the Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar. Based loosely on the ingredients listed on the rogue website and some other clone recipes found online.
Ingredients:
- 7 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
- 1 lbs Pale Chocolate Malt
- 1 lbs Brown Malt
- 12 ozs Crystal Malt 60L
- 8 ozs Light Carastan
- 8 ozs Victory Malt
- 0.5 ounce Perle Hops
- 0.5 ounce Sterling
- 1 teaspoon Irish Moss
- 1 ounce Hazelnut Extract
- 1 packet Wyeast 1764 Rogue Pacman
Instructions:
Mash for 60 minutes at 154 °F:
- 7 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
- 12 ozs Crystal Malt 60L
- 8 ozs Victory Malt
- 1 lbs Pale Chocolate Malt
- 8 ozs Light Carastan
- 1 lbs Brown Malt
Boil Schedule:
- 0.5 ounce Sterling pellets at 40 minutes
- 0.5 ounce Perle Hop pellets at 20 minutes
- 1 teaspoon Irish Mos at 15 minutes
- 1 ounce Hazelnut Extract at 0 minutes
Yeast:
- 1 packet Wyeast 1764 Rogue Pacman
Add the hazelnut extract when racking to secondary.
