Description:
Clone of the Rogue Hazelnut Brown Nectar. Based loosely on the ingredients listed on the rogue website and some other clone recipes found online.

Ingredients:

  • 7 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
  • 1 lbs Pale Chocolate Malt
  • 1 lbs Brown Malt
  • 12 ozs Crystal Malt 60L
  • 8 ozs Light Carastan
  • 8 ozs Victory Malt
  • 0.5 ounce Perle Hops
  • 0.5 ounce Sterling
  • 1 teaspoon Irish Moss
  • 1 ounce Hazelnut Extract
  • 1 packet Wyeast 1764 Rogue Pacman

Instructions:

Mash for 60 minutes at 154 °F:

  • 7 lbs 2-Row Pale Malt
  • 12 ozs Crystal Malt 60L
  • 8 ozs Victory Malt
  • 1 lbs Pale Chocolate Malt
  • 8 ozs Light Carastan
  • 1 lbs Brown Malt

Boil Schedule:

  • 0.5 ounce Sterling pellets at 40 minutes
  • 0.5 ounce Perle Hop pellets at 20 minutes
  • 1 teaspoon Irish Mos at 15 minutes
  • 1 ounce Hazelnut Extract at 0 minutes

Yeast:

  • 1 packet Wyeast 1764 Rogue Pacman

Add the hazelnut extract when racking to secondary.
