Description:
From the recipe 'Hop Hammer', page 189 of Brewing Classic Styles.
Ingredients:
- 15 lbs 4 ozs 2-Row Pale Malt
- 1 lbs Corn Sugar
- 8 ozs Crystal Malt 40L
- 8 ozs Wheat Malt
- 4 ounce Centennial Hops
- 2 ounce Chinook Hops
- 2 ounce Warrior Hops
- 4.25 ounce Columbus Hops
- 2.75 ounce Simcoe Hops
- 1 packet Wyeast American Ale (1056)
Instructions:
Mash for 60 minutes at 150 °F:
- 8 ozs Wheat Malt
- 15 lbs 4 ozs 2-Row Pale Malt
- 8 ozs Crystal Malt 40L
Boil Schedule:
- 2 ounce Warrior Hop pellets at 90 minutes
- 1 lbs Corn Sugar at 60 minutes
- 2 ounce Chinook Hop pellets at 60 minutes
- 1 ounce Simcoe Hop pellets at 45 minutes
- 1 ounce Columbus Hop pellets at 30 minutes
- 2.25 ounce Centennial Hop pellets at 0 minutes
Yeast:
- 1 packet Wyeast American Ale (1056)
Fermentation:
- 3.25 ounce Columbus Hop pellets at 14 days
- 1.75 ounce Simcoe Hop pellets at 14 days
- 1.75 ounce Centennial Hop pellets at 14 days
